As part of the İhtisas Talks series, Muhammet İkbal Bakır from Ibn Haldun University will give a presentation on his newly published book Hegel ve Levinas’ta Mutlak ve Varlık (Absolute and Being in Hegel and Levinas in English). In 2003, he graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Political Science and continued his graduate studies in philosophy. He defended his master’s thesis in 2010 and his doctoral thesis in 2017 at Galatasaray University. His research interests include German idealism and contemporary philosophy.
