As part of the Ihtisas Talks series, we welcome Gregory Vandamme, PhD from the University of Leuven. Vandamme completed his PhD at the same university with a thesis on the notion of perplexity in Ibn ‘Arabi and his followers and use of this notion in various fields. As the editor of the Journal of the Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi Society, his research focuses on the doctrines of speculative mysticism, Qur’anic hermeneutics and spiritual education in sufism.
