Memories from My Uncle Hafiz Cevdet Soydanses

We will host Prof. Dr. Sadettin Ökten in the conference series organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 3501 project Sociocultural, Historical and Religious Dimensions of Sultantepe Özbekler Tekkesi supported by ISAR Research Center. In this program, Ökten will talk about his memories about Özbekler Tekkesi, which he listened to from Cevdet Soydanses.

Prof. Dr. Ökten completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering (1964). Ökten, who also conducted research abroad during his graduate studies, received his doctorate in 1977. Ökten, who has also worked at Istanbul Technical University and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, continues to lecture on city and civilization.
