Within the scope of ISAR Research Center’s Thesis Presentations series, Ramazan Akgül’s thesis titled “Refutations on Darwinism in the context of New Science of Kalam” will be heard. In the presentation of his thesis, Akgül will discuss the content of the New Science of Kalam’s refutations against Darwinism, the evidence and methods they use, and the strengths and weaknesses of their criticisms.

Ramazan Akgül graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Theology. He graduated from his master’s degree in Basic Islamic Sciences Program at Ibn Haldun University in 2023 by successfully defending his thesis titled “Refutations on Darwinism in the context of New Science of Kalam” in the field of Kalam. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in the field of Kalam at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University.
