We will host Eşref Altaş in the 45th session of the Specialized Talks series organized by ISAR Research Center. Based on his published article, Altaş will present Sirāj al-Dīn al-Urmawī’s contributions to the literature on personal consciousness in Islamic thought.

Eşref Altaş graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 1998. He continued his graduate studies at the same university and received his master’s degree in 2002 and his doctorate degree in 2009. Currently working as a faculty member at Medeniyet University Department of Philosophy, Altaş continues his studies in the field of Islamic Philosophy.
