As part of the Specialized Lectures series, Seyfeddin Kara, PhD from the University of Groningen will deliver a speech. Kara holds a doctoral degree from the University of Durham and is the author of two books titled The Integrity of the Qur’an: Sunni and Shi‘i Historical Narratives (2024) and In Search of Ali ibn Abi Talib’s Codex: History and Traditions of the Earliest Copy of the Qurʾan (2018). His research interests include early Islamic history, hadith and Muslims in Europe.
