Spirituality in Healthcare Workshop
In ensuring human well-being, mental and spiritual wellness are as crucial as physical health. During illness and treatment processes, the spiritual needs of individuals are among the key elements that influence both the healing experience and the quality of healthcare services.
Based on this perspective, the İSAR Medicine and Ethics Working Group aims to discuss the interconnectedness of health, spirituality, psychology, and ethics within an interdisciplinary framework. The Spirituality in Health Workshop seeks to bring together experts from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing, theology, and healthcare services to comprehensively address spirituality within the context of health practice and education.
The workshop will feature multi-dimensional discussions on topics such as the status of spirituality in medical and psychological sciences, spiritual care in medical practice, the role of spiritual counseling in healthcare, and the integration of spirituality into medical education. Throughout the program, distinguished scholars and experts will share their insights on how spirituality can deepen the ethical and human dimensions of modern medicine. All researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in the field of spirituality in health are cordially invited to our workshop.
