Analytical Ontology Workshop

The workshop has been established to provide a general introduction to contemporary ontological debates. The book “Ontology and Metaontology” by Francesco Berto and Matteo Plebani will be read, but primary sources also will be used as much as possible. Participants are expected to be active in the workshops and to lead class discussions on the topic. The main outcome of this workshop is to acquire a basic knowledge of ontology as it is practiced in the analytic philosophical tradition and to be able to work on this subject on one’s own.
