Waqf Law Working Group

The Waqf (Endowment) Law Working Group is an academic community that examines the institution of the waqf within the framework of the current legal system. Based on the regulations regarding waqf law in the Turkish Civil Code, the group addresses the establishment, operation, and management of waqfs, the administration of their assets, and current issues in the field. While conducting these studies, prioritizing the identification of problems that arise in the daily operation and practice of waqfs and the development of approaches to clarify these issues is adopted as the primary goal; thus, the group aims to evaluate the theoretical discussions in the field of waqf law and the practical needs together.
