Hermeneutics of Creation: Appropriating Islamic Philosophy

In the 57th session of the Specialist Talks series organized by the ISAR Research Center, we will be hosting Selami Varlık from the Department of Philosophy at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University.

In this talk, Varlık will introduce his book recently published by Bloomsbury Publishing, titled "The Appropriation of Islamic Philosophy: Creation in Ricoeur and Avicenna." Throughout the session, he will discuss the core problematic and themes explored in the work.
